As well, he learns that each person had played a significant role in helping him to alive to the exact point that he did. In other words, each person had prevented him from dying at earlier points in his life.
There are phrases and sentences throughout that make you think twice, such as:
* "Sometimes when you cede something precious, you're non really losing it. Yous're only passing it on to someone else."
* "But the running boy is inside every human, no affair how quondam he gets."
* "Youth, similar pristine glass, absorbs the prints of its handlers."

The book also addresses a question that well-nigh people ask at some point: "What happens after death?" The author suggests one answer, which initially comes across as quite lite-hearted but does brand you think more deeply almost information technology all.
When the author talks well-nigh death he does information technology in the way a child would bring information technology up, i.e., it is only one of those things that happen. And the fashion the story unfolds, you get an insight into his style of covering the answers to Man's longstanding curiosity about the afterlife, reincarnation, etc.
The story also makes you consider other interesting issues such as:
